BagiTag is specially designed for your holiday or work trips to cope with the environmental and physical demands that checked-in luggage endures when travelling long distances. To give the BagiTag the waterproofness and physical strength required, we have completely sealed the technology and battery in solid resin. We estimated the 2 year battery life on 2 work trips or holidays per month (technically 960 hours of travel) so if you travel more then the battery life will be less. If you travel less then the battery life will be more!

Please note that BagiTag is not designed for daily use as an anti-lost device so if you attach it to something you use most days, then the battery life may reduce to a matter of months and you will need to buy a replacement BagiTag when the App gives you a low battery alert.

• Enable ‘wireless communication’ in your phone
• Enable 'Location' permission
• Open the BagiTag App
• Tap the New "+" button

• Choose "Scan QR code to activate" or "Input your activation code"

  • Input activation code: Make sure that the 'Activation Code' you are typing is correct.
  • Scan QR Code: Steady your hand while the QR code is centered on the screen.

• Tap the BagiTag on a hard surface continuously during activation. The key is CONTINUOUSLY.
• When activation is successful, a prompt message will appear. Click ‘OK’ and proceed
• Take a photo of your luggage
• Name your tag then press ‘Next’ button

The app can detect the signal emitted by the BagiTag device from 10 meters up to 30 meters in line of sight. The objects that obstructs in direct line of sight from tag to mobile also affects this zone.

• It’s important to allow all access permission
• Enable wireless communication and Location
• Make sure that the mobile phone is near to the BagiTag
• Follow the activation instruction. See: How to Activate Bagitag / BagiStrap
• Tap the BagiTag correctly and continuously until detected

If your phone won’t connect to BagiTag, try the below steps.

• Basic troubleshooting:

  • Restart the device’s wireless communication
  • Restart the app
  • Activate the Bagitag (see: How to Activate Bagitag / BagiStrap)

• If the above troubleshooting did not work, perform the advance troubleshooting:

  • Uninstall then reinstall the App
  • Make sure to enable wireless communication in your phone
  • Make sure to enable Location permission
  • Switch OFF and ON the phone or Reboot phone
  • Activate the Bagitag (see: How to Activate Bagitag / BagiStrap)
  • Continuously tap the BagiStrap on a hard surface and make sure that it hits the center/bulky part of the BagiStrap until you see the next screen

This feature is optional but recommended. Take a photo is to identify which luggage you attached the tag. This is very popular among frequent travellers. And the photo can be changed whenever you want.

• First, open the BagiTag App
• Choose the tag you want to rename
• On luggage detail page, tap on name text field
• Remove the existing name then replace to a new one
• Changes will be saved automatically when you press the Back button and should be able to see the new name on home page and detail page.

Yes, simply install the app and activate the same tag.

Yes, the same tag can be use in different luggages as long as it can be activated.

The BagiTag works for about 960 hours of continuous transmission. If the BagiTag did not detect any movement for two hours, it will go to sleep mode to save battery life. It will reactivate once it detects any movement.

Bagitag has been designed with an inbuilt battery system. Under normal usages the product can be use up to two years, thus the battery is not replaceable.

Yes. Carry-on luggage and backpacks are not checked in. These items typically have no identification. Each checked in luggage must have a BagiTag device so you can track each of your checked in luggages.

The “on” and “off” switch can be found on BagiTag app home page on each of the Luggage. This feature allows the user to enable or disable the scanning of that BagiTag and the notification of luggage status.

You should not have any issue with security relative to the device.

Any type of luggage will not be an issue in BagiTag or BagiStrap.

BagiTag is like a keychain, attached to the luggage and will not damage your items.

We would recommend keeping the tag on the outside of the bag to immediately identify the bag and improve signal.
